How to access Pearson courseware for a DayONE course in Canvas

How to locate your Pearson courseware in Canvas for a DayONE Access course:
From left navigation bar click on the Module named:
DayONE Access (eTextbook and Courseware) then, click on the link DayONE Access.
Click on: Load DayONE in a new window
Click Launch Courseware or Read Now to access your Pearson course materials.
If you have a Pearson account, enter your username and password. (You have an account if you have ever used a Pearson MyLab, Mastering or Revel product, such as MyLab Math, MyLab IT, MyLab Spanish, Mastering Biology, Mastering Physic or Revel for ….)
If you don’t have a Pearson account, select Create and follow the instructions. (use your gtcc.edu email to create your account) If you have taken a previous DayONE course in Canvas at GTCC using a Pearson product you will go directly to your course materials.
OPTING OUT
Please be advised it is NOT recommended that you Opt-Out, as these materials are required by your professor to complete the course and the fee charged is at a discounted price, but to do so, click the ‘Want to opt-out?’ button.
Select your reason why and click: Opt Out.
If you Opt Out:
- You will be responsible for purchasing these materials on your own.
- A refund of your book/courseware fee will be put back on your student account for you to receive your refund in 4-6 weeks.
- You will lose access to your courseware on the 8th day of class (6th day during summer term).
- To get connected to the courseware you purchased somewhere else; send your name, course info, access code and proof of purchase to DayONE@gtcc.edu.
You can opt back in at anytime before the 8th day of class(6th day during summer term); the option to opt in will not be available after the 8th day of class (6th day during summer term).
